Company History

W.A. Moyer was founded in 1895 and incorporated in 1951. After the purchase by Hopkins Mfg. Co. in 1978, the facility was moved from Pennsylvania to Emporia, Kansas. In 1992, the company was sold to Wesley Bowden and moved to its present location of 1114 East 6th Ave. The company name remained the same because of the longevity and reputation for quality it had earned in the market. Today the name W.A. Moyer Co. is synonymous with quality vials.
